The Things We Keep Studio is a conceptual design for a jewelry brand, born in Seattle, established in New York, and opening new doors in Athens, Georgia. The studio features dedicated spaces for daily business operations such as design and fulfillment, a showroom, and a metals studio equipped with 20 jeweler’s benches and 7 semi-private booths that are open to local artisans and creatives in an effort to integrate into their new neighborhood and foster artistic community.

At the heart of the studio is the open workspace and breakroom combination that serves as a hub for creativity and inspiration, where employees can converse, collaborate, and, most importantly, create. Hard lines and angled corners are reduced in both layout and finish selections, encouraging the circulation of movement and artistry. Organic materials and finishes such as stone, wood, plaster, and clay are found around the studio in colors and patterns that reflect the organic nature of life and the brand’s aesthetic.
